The SWCHBAK concept came about when founder Michelle Johnson wanted more out of her multifunctional gaiters that she used all the time when out running trails. She wanted a product that was made in the U.S., was made thoughtfully, and with different attributes than what she was able to find online or in a store.

And thus, SWCHBAK was born.

At SWCHBAK we love what we do, and although SWCHBAK was created originally with running in mind, it is made to EXPLORE YOUR WAY, whether that be running, hiking, snowboarding, camping, biking, or any other way that you chose to get outside and explore, our multifunctional gaiters are made with inclusivity and fun in mind.

SWCHBAK has since evolved, and the vision of SWCHBAK Collective was brought to life. This unique running and outdoor lifestyle specialty boutique features only woman-owned brands. Michelle wanted to have a way to highlight some of the amazing woman business owners in the running and outdoor specialty industry. Every product you find on our website and at our retail store is woman-owned.

As far as we know, we are proudly the only running and outdoor retail space in the U.S. featuring solely woman-owned brands!
